Anu grew up in India as an orphan, and early on, she knew she wanted to spend her life helping vulnerable children find hope. Now she runs Vanitashray, a ministry for widows and orphans in Pune, India. They provide practical love and care for single mothers, including feeding programs and day-care centers, as well as housing for vulnerable young women. This month she is also hosting a workshop focused on children’s rights and child protection policies in the juvenile justice system.
