Forsaken Children, Ethiopia
DESCRIPTION:
In Ethiopia, there are an estimated 100,000 children living on the streets of the capital city, Addis Ababa.
There are many reasons for this—from family breakdown to the promise of a better life in the city. Regardless, children living on the streets are extremely vulnerable—drawn to drugs, in danger of being trafficked, and separated from God’s best for them—a family.
“Forsaken Children” is a ministry that strives to rescue these little ones by partnering with local organizations to reunite them with their families. They offer these organizations training and support to help better care for children according to God’s desire for them.
PLEASE PRAY FOR:
- Those receiving the training to be eager to learn and then implement what they understand.
- Leadership of local ministries and organizations to support and encourage their front-line workers.
- Natural circles of support and protection for vulnerable children, especially local Christians, to rise up and care for the nations children and families.
